The Butt in Scuttlebutt Queer as a Clockwork Orange * Type: Mohawk
I like coloring things and putting words on them, such as my comic Mahou Shounen FIGHT!. Sometimes I draw things and photograph things but mostly not.
again with my gorgeous sewing pj pants. they go wih everything, you know.
last bit patterned out. decided to nix two pieces of this costume… the knee armor and the coat sleeves.. because i want to be able to move, and i don’t feel like dying of heat exhaustion in San Diego (Altair last year was bad enough and that was made out of white linen!)
very happy with how things are turning out. all that is left is hand sewing and making an odd necklace. already did a makeup test and things worked out well. need a touch of liquid latex and makeup for the ears, but it turned out well.
i might actually finish my costume before con for once!
I really lik that both my dog and Lamb Chop are in this photo. I think they approve.
Against the Infinite - Crazy Three Dimensional Art by AJ Fosik
You might recognizeAJ Fosik as the artist responsible for the cover of Mastodon's 2011 record The Hunter. These pictures are from his solo exhibition “Against the Infinite” currently running until December 21 at the Jonathan Levine Gallery. The coup de grâce of the show is a collection of 30 animal heads on diamond-shaped panels that can be combined to form a giant 30-sided shape called a rhombic triacontahedron.
Finalists for the Lammys were announced today by the Lambda Literary Foundation (LLF) in Los Angeles after reviewing a record 746 submissions (up from 687 last year) from 352 publishers (up from 332 last year).
